This reminded me of when someone saw Nash carrying a bottle of scotch with Miller going to Girardi's place on the eve of the game.

Zubov used to smoke a pack of cigs before, during, and after the game (not three packs, but one pack during that time).

He was fine.

And smoking is a **** ton harder on an athlete than drinking.

I'm sure Hags is fine.

imagine if the Rangers played drunk, maybe that is the reason they are at .500 at the moment.

Went out hardcore last night with clients, then gf...

I'll be lucky to stay awake for the 2nd period.

This is a MUST win. No excuses....

Hank needs to be lights out and start earning that behemoth (albeit justified) of a contract.

With Dorsett out, there's really nobody who can stop Scott from gooning it up.

That would involve his team having the puck in the offensive zone when he's on the ice though...

with the Rangers its possible. didnt Mike Rupp score a hat trick vs the Rangers..

any 4th liner can get a goal vs the Rangers, especially if its a rookie in their 1st NHL game :sarcasm:

I thought it was obvious that he was gonna crash into him regardless of whether his team was in the offensive zone

There's little to compare between Mike Rupp in his Pittsburgh years and John Scott.

but the point was that any 4th liner can score vs Rangers no matter how good or how much you stink as a player

Well if the puck isn't in the offensive zone Lundqvist won't be distracted by the play and will be able to skate away from Scott. May even be able to get an intentional offside out of it.

In summary, Buffalo will dress 17 skaters I'm more concerned about than John Scott.

It surely would be interesting. Hank's reaction time has been off because he sux and is declining rapidly says some people, but John Scott skates slower than Brian Boyle's wrist shot so he might have a chance
