I just look at every game with pessimism. Partly because this roster hasn't shown me any reason to act differently, and partly because when they do win it's a pleasant surprise. Better than expecting wins and being disappointed.

That said, 2 in a row would be nice. 2 goals in a row would be great too...

That fight is exactly what the rangers lack this. Season. Not tuff enough and don't match up at all against bigger teams. Rupp Bickel , Prust all gone and so I'd the idenity of the NYR

I think what the Rangers lack this season is goals, what with being tied for second to last in the league in GF.

I like this current one a lot. I swear that 9 or 10 different posters asked why I changed. The other is too popular. It's become bigger than Bob Richards.

The Rangers could be tougher and score more. One is slightly easier to fix then the other.

Some of Sauer's physicality is missed. Callahan and Boyle don't seem to hit as much as they used to. Dubi obviously has been missed there. Our forecheck has less bite to it.

We don't seem to fight any more, but that I'm not so concerned about.

I remember one game in NHL 07 I had against the Sabres. Biron had a 67 save shutout against me.

Its pretty simple:

The Rangers have to be careful on their breakouts. The Devils are probably going to stack the wall. They like to outnumber the Rangers 2-1 on the boards.

If the Rangers can be controlled/deliberate out of their end. They will nullify much of the Devils offensive pressure.

If the Rangers don't do that, it will be an ugly game..
