There were no shooting lanes but still. Gotta take the shot. The fancy schmancy passes usually get broken up in those situations.

It always ends up going back to the system.
Never changes and makes me fkn nutz!

Montreal did a good job of stifling the Rangers' offense in this game... but the Rangers did an even better job of it.

Hope they spend a good deal of time just drumming it into the players heads to shoot the damn puck.

Why is it so hard for the forwards to chip the puck in when they receive a puck from the d.
Before that turnover Lindgren was behind the net and asked Fox if he wanted to carry the puck out

Lacking in fundamentals, game management, general situational awareness.
And that’s why this game is on DQ. That’s bad coaching. Get control of your team and get them focused. But then again I don’t know if he even preaching those things, playing for the point. That’s the concern

Ryan "you don't have to throw him under the bus like that" Strome invisible. The train has come to its station for Strome. Time to ship him out for a 2nd and a 3rd. Panarin-Chytil-XXXXX

I would leave Kakko on PP1 but take him off that first line.

Lindgren shouldnt be bombing a two line cross ice pass with a little over a minute left.

I'd like them to throw Buch with Panarin and Zib now. Kakko will be a good player but he isnt ready yet imo.
Conditioning will determine whether he'll be a 20/20 player or a 40/40 player. That's his biggest problem. Then he can worry about shooting more.

This is a little excessive. Its one game for Strome. He has played well all year. Don’t even think he was bad at all. But ok

Just one bad turnover and that's GG. Had a feeling the Habs would not allow themselves to lose this game after we humiliated them last time, so it's all good. And we played much better than we did against CBJ, so there are positives to take away from this game, Staal didn't seem like a liability like everyone portrayed him to be, and maybe we should have let Hank play since he has a lot more experience playing against these Montreal players. All in all good experience for the kids, that's all that matters, right?
