Welcome back Staal! That goal was caused by him doing an absolutely terrible job getting that puck deep when he carried it into the NZ.

But the puck went in deep. And the deflection/slow down actually meant we could get a better forecheck in....

Damn that replay they just showed what a horrible change by McKegg. Him going for a change there is the only reason the trailer was so open and combined with Staal’s bad play at the blue line gifted Montreal an odd man rush.

Unforced errors like that, McKegg going for the change in that situation, are things that absolutely cannot happen. Horrible.
