Seems about right given that one is a Hart candidate

Frankly if we're talking about deserving Hart trophy nominees so far this season, Panarin is a distant third behind Shesty who is a distant second behind Fox.

It could change, but I have the NYR team MVPs ranked

Fox
Shesty
Bread

with honorable mentions to Kreider and Trouba.

What is the deal with these track suits? Did I miss this discussion earlier or something?

Remember the first two seasons of OLN/Versus?

Not really but ESPN has the ability to broadcast and market the game a helluva lot more than versus. The ABC/ESPN coverage has been awful. 2 months now and could count the amount of games on both on 1 hand. I don't have hulu or ESPN+ so I can't watch the game. F*** Bettman and f*** espn.

It'd be really nice to settle the score tonight. Show we belong with the big dogs

For real though haha. I don't think I know a single person in real life that doesn't have Hulu / doesn't find it easy enough to just sign up for the free trial and cancel. Sometimes HF keeps me connected to the older generation, it's all very foreign to me

I don't think this is "ESPN doing a bad job of promoting hockey" rather this is exactly why ESPN paid the NHL a boatload of cash. They want to leverage exclusive content to grow their streaming platform. The same thing all the other streaming platforms are doing.

We don't have to like it as fans (I personally do not!) but ESPN is doing what they set out to do, and the league gets paid handsomely in a lucrative rights deal.

No one watches hockey, the ratings on TNT stink, at least ESPN got the hockey package out of the deal so everyone signs up for ESPN+ for out of market games.

I’ll be interested when the playoffs start if they have games on ESPN+.

Nobody watches on TNT because it's on Wednesday nights at 10pm eastern time. I thought NBCSN was doing ok with their viewership. It's obvious why espn got the deal. It doesn't make it better for the fans.
