Avs are a legitimate Cup favorite, but this matchup shows the bar the Rangers need to be at, and they have a ways to go. They are way too slow here. Can’t get anything going. Rangers need speed, need secondary scoring, 3rd pairing is still a disaster. There is a good foundation but Rangers are not near this level.

I’ve been saying for months we need way more young forwards. At least two more top six types, so that you have some top 6 talent playing in your bottom 6. Instead we have bottom sixers playing in our top 6.
