For a man who is 6'7'' and 245lbs, it would be nice if he used his size to intimidate opponents. Unfortunately, he does not.

He also doesn't challenge anyone to fight, because he knows he can't hold his own with anyone. He gets thrown around like a rag doll.

However, seeing him on the 4th line is where he belongs, and I am glad he is where he is supposed to be playing.

After that Ott series where he was an absolute bully I was hoping he'd adopt that more but it didn't take.

It makes me sad how Staal has really fallen from what he was a couple years back. maybe the injuries finally took a toll on him

I give up defending Boyle

If we lose this game can everyone continue *****ing about Boyle? It's better than *****ing about how the team didn't show up for half this game against a mediocre team at home.

I'm beginning to think all HFNYR members should be required to fight someone 6'9" as initiation.

The fact that he willingly wanted to fight Chara essentially means he has to wear suspenders to carry the weight of his massive balls.

Boyle is a very big man, you do not want to fight that.

He would get killed by Peluso. He can hardly even protect himself in a fight. I would not want to see him go up against a guy like him.

When has he been so helpless to not protect himself in a fight? Funny. I seem to remember him coming out fine against Chara, McQuaid, Shelley, Bieksa, etc. I get that you don't like the guy but you should avoid the flat out false statements.

What happened last intermission that has the jokes coming?

I like how, again, this thread becomes a discussion about Boyle.

I don't get some of you guys.

He doesn't challenge anyone even though he went up to Chara the other game and has gotten instigator penalties before. OK, then. The minute Chara contacted Boyle he started jawing with Chara and then dropped the gloves.
