Goalies

I’d love their rationale for not trying to go after Askarov.
It would have been a stupid move on a number of levels:

1) they have some very good goalies in the system, not a major need
2) it would help them win now, while rebuilding, papering over weaknesses (see the Rangers, a mediocre team that rode Shesterkin's shoulders, but when he's human they're below average)
3) they shouldn't be trading 1st rd picks away unless it's a young player at a position of weakness.

They’ve got Ersson, who has shown a similar ability to get injured like Hart - without the talent level.

Puttings eggs so quickly into Bjarnason, and Zavragin is weird imo. Top tier goaltending is something this organization should actually focus on, because they sure as shit aren’t going to be winning with an average tender. Not with the their “plan” for amassing top talent.

I really hope Michkov and Tippett keep it up, I actually think Tippett has a chance to be a reasonably respectable forward if he gels with Michkov.

See a 4 min complete trailer in the video game thread. But wanted to tease you here

Jean Claude Van Damme the newest celebrity to enter the Hitman game that just keeps adding content since 2016.

Sean Bean
Connor McGreggor
Now JCVD

Hope they don't choke today like they did on Thursday night.

Creeping narcissism is not an option for these guys. Long way to go for that to happen.

BTW....three sisters from Mexico. Their new album is #1 in the UK and just hit the US charts at #58.
They write all their songs except one, play all their instruments, and do not use autotune on vocals.

So you'll give a 1st for an unproven goalie but don't trust their own unproven goalies?
Askarov
18: 9 KHL, 6 VHL, 9 MHL (including POs)
19: 6 KHL, 12 VHL
20: 48 AHL, .911 Sv%, 12 AHL PO .903
21: 44 AHL .911, 5 AHL PO .882

Off that track record, why would the Flyers consider him a better prospect than Bjarnason or Zavragin?

He also needs to remember last game. PASS to MM and you get a better scoring chance instead of putting his blinders on and going on his solo act
The second goal WAS a pass to MM that was blocked, Tippett hustled, recovered the puck and scored.
