If that’s dramatic to you, I don’t know what to tell you. What’s dramatic is that everyone wanted to hang Skjei earlier in the season after one ref made an awful call against him.

You always act like people on here are thinking extremes when that's rarely the case. Most wanted to hang Skjei because he is easily one of the most frustrating players on this team. And it was hardly because of one awful call. He was pretty bad to start the season. That doesn't mean he's not an NHL player, but he certainly wasn't play well. He's been better lately, but he is prone to gaffes like the one we just saw that will warrant legitimate criticsm every time.

Cap hit is a bit too high, sure. Other than that, I agree he’s inconsistent. But part of that is people’s expectations were way too high.

It’s a well-known fact that hf is very reactionary. How many times have you seen people say “so and so is a god” after one good goal or “so and so is not an NHLer” after one bad play? I don’t mind it, I just think it’s pretty funny most of the time. Hell, I do it once in a while too (on the positive side). Sometimes though, it gets annoying and predictable. And don’t act like people don’t do this.

Also, I made a post that criticized him for that play. I don’t get your angle here.
