It’s really bewildering to realize we had a 100+ point pace Panarin last year, 100+ point, 50+ goal Zib last year, 50 point pace Kreider and Buchnevich last year. 60+ point pace DeAngelo, 50 point pace rookie Fox. Hell even Strome paced for 70 points. And with another year of development for Chytil, another year of development for #2OA Kakko and the addition of the consensus #1OA in draft that was considered very deep... and our offense is a literal dumpster fire.

It’s clear when you watch how other rookies play around the league that this coach is not good for these two in particular. The philosophy too is dump and chase and basically play it safe for forty seconds unless you’re given offensive zone chances and space to work with. Their stats will never blow up.
