I think Blueger's been perfectly fine as a 4C, particularly defensively.

If Bjugs did anything well, I'd be fine with him. But he's lackluster offensively and lackluster defensively. He brings nothing, and while I don't think he's a detriment, he's certainly not helping us win games.
Blueg has been detrimental in many games (including tonight). We give him a pass because he's new. We just look the other way.

Kahun’s gotta be one of the most efficient players in the league in terms of offensive chances generated / goals scored per 60 / situation / whatever.

Not sold on him being worse than Blueger this season.

Blueger is way better and its absurd to even suggest that he isnt.

Bjugstad wishes he could puck support as well as Blueger, play anywhere near as well Defensively or be as smart of a player. Hell Bjugstad can't even PK.

Blueger has been very good this year at the 4C spot.

don't get the complaining. he gets killed with Defensive situations and plays them very well. he's also offensively skilled , so its not like hes just a Defensive guy, he can create.

yah his stats offensively aren't there but that doesn't show his true offensive ability. hes quite skilled.

meh, I hate that plays like that one are a penalty. There's no way that was intentional. If it's not obvious enough to see it, then I don't think it needs to be called. And the last thing we need is more reviews.
The easiest solution that the NHL won’t do is to have a “birds eye view” ref or two. But that’s to simple and logical for the NHL to do.

Take a look at Bjugstad's numbers with us last season. Are you sure he's worthless?

I can most definitely see Gally traded.

Its a two edged blade on that... if he isn’t going to be defensively sound, and he isn’t going to be, he needs to score... every team has a place for a pure offensive winger, but he isn’t scoring....

On the flip end most of the time when a proven scorer isn’t scoring, its just a matter of time... disturbed water finds it’s level...
so you have to determine if he is just not giving the effort or its a system thing or it’s just bad bounces, cause you don’t want to sell low before the scoring surge comes if you don’t have to

what a ridiculous thing to say

I like Blueger and I don't know if Bjugstad is a great fit here, but to suggest that Blueger isn't just better, but so much better that suggesting otherwise is absurd, is just plain silly.

For a 4th line role? yah its absurd to suggest that Bjugstad is even close. the guy cant even PK or win a board battle.
