No one on the right side is in position to shoot off a pass. I just don’t understand why we are wasting all of that talent. It was on fire before this brilliant idea and has been absolute ass since

We have Panarin playing the right side on the PP, neutralizing him. Why put our best player in anything other than the place to get the most out of him? So Ryan f***ing Strome can be fit in?

Does none of management see an issue with 4RHS and Kreider on a unit?

This powerplay will continue to be an issue until they make the change. It’s already lost us a game against Boston.

It’s amazing I brought this up on the pregame with Giannone and Maloney and Maloney didn’t even realize we had 4 righties out there so you really do wonder if these guys are what we do

Kakko, Buch, Chytil - just pick any one of them to put at the right circle on the PP1 and demote Strome.
Literally any of them. It’s not hard. I don’t understand why Quinn is so intent on making this a thing.

Also, I love Mika, but get him out of that position. Panarin dominates there.

it's stunning how bad their ability to control the puck is.
So I wasn’t the only one to notice that. It seems as if other teams can control the puck at will. With speed. With their eyes closed. Meanwhile we fumble slow, simple passes and maneuvers. While standing still.

We have the talent to run something similar to TB PP. A big LH shot would be nice.

but... 1-3-1. Kreider in front. Panarin on left dot, Zibs in high slot, Kakko/Chytil right dot and whoever up top

Quinn is trying to ruin the Breadman's development. Even though he's 47 years old, it's only his 4th year in the NHL, so Quinn saw the low games played, and well you know how he roles.

every game night we have to wonder what Quinn sees in Howden.
