The problem with the system is illustrated in that last shift. Rangers get the puck along the wall in ozone. Instead of turning and driving to the net, the Ranger forwards waits until one of the Rangers shifting down low...

It's like they are specifically looking for a way to not get the puck on net.

Its not so much that, its that Torts system is about wearing down enemy defenders, through board work and physicality.

The problem is that when a team matches it, the Rangers offense goes down the toilet...

There are going to be games where you can't just physically overpower a team..
