To be honest, kind of hope we goon things up..at least it would be entertaining and we are already going to be picking top 5 so who cares at this point.

Gotta love Weber always being ready to fight even though he stinks at it.
Kaleta would be perfect here..I'd send him off to piss off Giroux, he's always good for retaliating and taking a penalty.

I'm sorry, just have to vent, that Scott thing was the single dumbest call I've seen in a long time. Ennis gets drilled - no call, so Weber fights Simmonds - PP Philly. So after that Scott simply gets put onto the ice - 10 minute misconduct. So essentially the refs just said "Go ahead Philly, do whatever you want." What the eff.

I don't. I'd rather watch the game get called correctly and the team play solid hockey than have John Scott become more of a sideshow than he already is.

Exactly. It was a 2 minute penalty, but a damned obvious one.
And I agree with a few others who are saying that Kaleta would be crucified for such a hit.

That'd be a tough fight. I would rather have Scott go after Simmonds, foligno go after Rinaldo, and Ott take out Hartnell.

Refs should just let Scott fight and get it over with. Just asking for more stupid stuff instead of getting it over with.

No one will willingly go with Scott, though, and the refs are going to hit him with every penalty in the book if he starts a fight. At least Foligno might be able to coax someone into going. Scott's just going to have to go full instigator, likely start a line brawl, and sit out the remainder of the game. Otherwise, he's just going to skate around uselessly.Neither are super attractive options.

that instigator call on weber was a disgraceful piece of officiating. simmonds had his gloves off first and threw the first punch. you let a clear boarding call go and don't expect there will be fireworks? the arrogance of simmonds to play around with the puck like he hadn't just done something iffy is infuriating.

I don't want to see good clean disciplined hockey. This train wreck isn't making the playoffs in any case.
I'd rather see them goon it up at this point. Might as well go down swinging.
You obviously didn't see the 10 min for pointing at the scoreboard then. That's pretty dumb too. At least we're only losing Scott.
