Bylsma got that one right, but that was because James had a lethal release and on the off side it just worked with the angles he was getting and going on his back stride.

Since then, Sullivan has been trying the same shit with most wingers to much less success.

This. Pens have been an one line team for freaking long periods of time under Sullivan.

Firing just Reirden at this point does nothing. That's like the weakest shit Dubas can do, this is a team that has fired their assistants before and had a change of assistants before that. So going on your 4th pair of assistants under the same coach is like you know the problem but you're digging around it instead.

Minnesota didn't fire their assistants.
Edmonton didn't fire their assistants.
Penguins didn't fire Tocchet when MJ was f***ing up, they didn't fire Bylsma's assistants either...

There is only one option mate.

tuff call. i just don't see us getting much better, if at all. and if we decide to move some players out we could easily be much worse. (This is based on keeping sully, and not having another ek droped into our lap.)
