This 3rd line needs to be exiled. Beyond awful. Howden should be in the AHL tbh but we all know that isn't happening. Boo is better than Howden, McKegg is better than Howden. Obviously McKegg is hurt though.

Fine w/me they rested Boo a day and gave Haley showcase, chance to earn paycheck if it's all like, I went to the fights and a hockey game broke out.

boo btw is in positive territory +1 in limited action despite 0 PP opportunity. Most NYR players atm are even or negative.

No, imo, would rather have the cap space. Paid too much for what he did. Some production, but not spectacular as results required lots of touches.

Rangers need to pare down to a real core.
Sell high on Buch, Strome, etc who we are not gonna pay when new deals due next season.

yes. doesn't have Sauer's bone crunching hits but makes up with better escapability. I don't know if he's always had that or picked some of that up from Panarin and Fox who excel at that: the ability to move the puck from a tightly contested situation and make controlled exits from said situations.

I don’t think it was that bad all things considered. However I did notice they reverted back to the passive 2-1-2 in the D-zone. Maybe due to playing yesterday.
