That’s what Marty does. He gets his chances, uses his speed and he’ll make you pay.
- Brad Richards

It wasn’t the start we were looking for, I was looking for, but you have to move on.
It was just unfortunate when we made a few mistakes we had Marty get the puck and he’s tough to stop.
I have to be better there, probably on top of it and my timing was a little off when he got his chances there.
- Henrik Lundqvist

It was a Martin St. Louis love-fest out there, nobody touched a soul, especially not him.
At the end of the day, turnovers led to the first three goals and our inability to make the other team pay when they made mistakes.
My first message is we need to make the other team pay. It was obviously a big no hitter.
- Alain Vigneault

Just forget about Tampa. Every team has those days....

I expect good things from Nash and Zucc/Step/Kreider

Think we could be seeing Pyatt here. Poo has been terribad lately.

Hags - Richards - Nash
Kreider - Stepan - Zucc
Boyle - Brass - Cally
Pyatt - Moore - Dorsett

Nash with 1 goal in 7 games..

That's like..not good..at all...

Hopefully the real Nash shows up tonight..

For the hell of it I predict a 3 point night for him..

My feeling looking at those lines is that as per usual the richards line needs to pull its weight. He should not be at center right now he was actually doing well at W. Get him the ******* off of center. I don't care if you have Boyle centering Nash's line just get Brad the ******* outta there. (ok i do care but I'm angrily exaggerating). Nash I'm not worried about and think he'll start to recover from his injury and do well soon. I think Hagelin and Nash should be on a line together call it 1, 2 ,5 whatever I just think those two should be on a line and am glad they are.

Does any1 else look at Pouliot and see nothing but a black hole? We should prob trade for a guy who can fill in and actually have some sort of tangible impact on the ice at LW there

Gomez-2 goals. Lol. Anyway lets get a damn win here. Rangers!!!!

Nash has shown up, stats don't tell the story. He single-handedly drew the Rangers three penalties last game, including BOTH that led to the long 5 on 3. The Lightning had no answer for him, he just wasn't getting good support.

At some point, I think AV is going to have to - to quote Torts *vomits* - rob Peter to pay Paul and put Nash with Stepan. Hopefully Nash can generate some chemistry with another line so we dont' have to break up Kreider - Stepan - Zuccarello.

Not sure if I'll be able to watch this one tonight :( Too many of my friends home for the holiday looking to be active. Yawn.

I'll be in 131 tonight, hoping for Henke as he's ALWAYS has a good game in Sunrise, no matter who's won.
Will support Cam if I see him for the first time live, either morethanacceptable goaltender we have, I expect a goalie show on both ends regardless.:yo:

Anyone want to see Richards moved back to left wing?

Richards - Brassard - Nash
Kreider - Stepan - Zuc
Hagelin - Boyle - Callahan
Pyatt - Moore - Dorsett

Can shuffle the wingers up or down... but gets Richards back where he was performing.

Ideally I would, but the way Brassard is playing, there's no way you can have him centering the first line. Maybe - just maybe - you can try him with Zuccarello and Kreider, since he has decent chemistry with both guys, and then do Richards-Stepan-Nash, but I dunno. I'm no fan of rewarding guys who keep playing badly with more ice time.
