It's more likely he asks what they want, and the answer also ends up at least with Kasper, edvinsson , or asp and he's not interested in trading them at this point.

We're not really in a position to be swinging big or even medium trades unless they're for picks at this point.

Thursday's game might determine Yzerman's philosophy for the near future. I think I would sell either way or weaponize our cap space for assets.

Trade Kane and Lyon, Yzerman at the very least needs to fix his mistake of trading off assets to cap dump Fabbri/ Walman only to sign trash like Gustaffsson / Tarasenko.

I don't know about that. His first 7-8 minutes of relief we have literally never played worse as a Wings team in the past 20 years.

I just think we would flat out be better right now with some kids coming up. Mazur would be a nice injection, same with danielson and his skating ability through the NZ.

There is value for guy like Danielson to play with Kane. I know it's 2 soft guys on the line but it will benefit Danielson for future, so I like Kane not just traded, but signed for extra year

Holland and Yzerman have both made a lot more bad trade deals hanging on to guys and having to trade them for “considerations” than not.

At some point you wonder if everyone is simply too comfortable and if everyone needs some monumental shake up to recall what it takes to win down the stretch.

There is absolutely no excuse for 15 years of this bullshit overly-conservative management.

Well when you grasp the idea that somehow Kasper is untradeable. Straight up.

Then you know why nothing happens. An why fans are also cool with it.(Right or wrong).

Until people can grasp the idea of someone like that possibly being traded for a good/better player... then nothing changes ever unless it's through the draft... 3,4,5 years from now. Which no one cares about right now except "draft guy" who's pretending to build this team with Yzerman. Theres almost no expectations from fans/mediea/etc to make the move you're suggesting at all.

This team will have to hope for a lot of young players developing ALL well at the same time.
