I’m a blues fan.

What do you all think about Ryan McLeod?

That’s my outsider guess and what maybe you’re doing. Probably going to keep thinking something like this could occur until the guy signs his next deal.

Apparently EK65 is available.

Always been a favorite of mine but clearly doesn’t fit our timeline. He can definitely still play.

Still would love to see him in a winged wheel. Just to fulfill my dream.

Still remember how absurdly dominant he was in that cup run. Plus it would annoy Sens fans.

I’m petty.

doesn’t the hurricane ownership hate Detroit and vice versa?

When’s the last time a trade happened between the two teams. Can’t recall.

Anyways SY isn’t targeting Rantanen. Would be dope though
That was with previous owner Karmanos

With Copp out for the year now, that gives them even more cap space. Everything’s on the table. Including retaining for picks on deadline day, if they can’t do what they want.

The McCann stuff is probably legit. The Schenn stuff is also probably legit knowing the relationship between the teams. I know the Byrum stuff was very, very real, but the Cozens stuff is still more media driven. I’m told the DET/BUF talk was always centered around Byrum. If it ever moved to Cozens, who knows. I’ve heard the Ristolainen speculation for about a month now, added to speculation about Drysdale. Detroit’s more defensive oriented scouts have watched Philly more than any other team. I was told back in December that was about Drysdale, but now I’ve heard it’s about either. That Risto has grown on them. Mittlestadt should scare DET fans some, because Yzerman was in on him last year, and the DET scouts have always liked him. Even the beginning of this year. So Colorado watching GR more than once recently is something to keep an eye on. I could absolutely see that happening for those reasons. If they get Mittlestadt though, they’ll have to make a second move for a defensive forward.

Losing Copp is gonna hurt a lot. All those anti-Copp folks are going to see what life without him looks like now, unkess Compher really steps into that role. Copp’s the player a coach just looks at and he knows what to go do. The glue player. So you hope whoever they do bring in, can pick up some of those defensive assignments. Hopefully Rasmussen isn’t out long too because he’s the 2nd player that does all the dirty work. Losing both, you get the results they just got over the weekend. Blowing 2 goal leads late in back to back games.

Think Berggren might finally be on his way out too btw. Heard he’s being shopped for someone who can help them 5 on 5 more.

Things are getting very real. Is he gonna make a core move or punt with more filler type players? Guess we’ll find out, but they will be active. Likely sooner than the deadline.

The crybaby that pouted until he got his coach fired and then had a mental breakdown over fans booing him for it?

No thanks.
If we judged everyone by their lowest moments a lot of players would be a no as well. The point is he can score and would fix our center problem for the next 5-7 years. A coach like Todd is exactly what he needs.

There's a difference between a lowest moment being a slump and a lowest moment being you showing piss poor character and having a pity party for yourself because you can't take direction and don't want to be coached.

That's exactly the player we don't need, and the exact opposite of the character Yzerman typically looks for.

What are the chances the blues wont get a massive return for schenn if the team acquiring him lands his brother as well???

Also would the pens be so desperate to shed the 10 mill off karlsson they'd send us a 2nd as well, nevermind us paying up?? I know it's likely slim to none but if that were the case with these guys just having 2-3 yrs left it would be intriguing

Kasper Larkin raymond
Debrincat schenn kane
Soderblom Rasmussen berggren
Motte veleno fischer

Still have danielson & Watson as options

Chiarot seider
Edvinsson karlsson
Johansson schenn

I would think we'd make the playoffs with this roster and might actually make some noise ??

Tarasenko can go back to stl or flo
Compher can go to stl with picks

In the end its prob a real contender like edm that will reunite the schenn's

all of those moves nashville made over the offseason have just been an unmitigated disaster. If we can grab Stamkos cheap enough, I wouldn't be against it. I also wouldn't push hard on the retaining if it keeps the asset cost lower. We can afford the cap hit, especially if we can find a way to move another contract or two in the summer.
