Trading for EP would be a massive mistake.

And Vancouver does not want picks. They want roster players. So unless you guys are willing to give up Raymond or ADB it’s not happening.

Again, do not want EP. And if it does happen so many people will be crying about him sucking in a couple years. Idc how much heat I get for this but he’s completely overrated.

He doesn’t play the body. In my eyes he’s completely overrated in the defensive department. And he’s soft. And he’s being paid 11 million?

I’d rather wait and hope Rantanen his free agency and he decides to come here. This whole thing with Pettersson just irks me and idk why. There’s a reason there’s drama there and it’s toxic drama. No thanks dude

Just seen the flyers flames trade and if we didnt have all the kids coming up soon I'd have done that. Steal for the flames. A ufa to be with 1 goal kuzmenko,pelletier and a 2nd and 7th for frost and farabee 2 kids who can be around 20 goal guys 45ish forwards who are in they're mid 20s

Be like veleno + motte/fischer +picks, kyle dumbass should have made the trade. Offer better picks, exact type of deal pens need since all the forwards there are pretty much mid 30s

Whenever I've seen the Flyers I've liked Farabee...and then I see his actual numbers and they just aren't where I'd expect them to be. Maybe he and Frost will take off in Calgary. Philly could gain some cap flexibility going forward, I guess that was the appeal to them.

I think the Pens should just be dealing people off and grabbing what picks they can. Retain on Malkin and see which contender wants to add him for the next two years.

I just heard Jamie oleksiak made the trade board now ... what would it take to get him??? 6'7 dman yes please, locked at 1 more year... I cant a see a 1st unless it's a real cup contender like Toronto etc.. offering a late 1st maybe

2nd rd pick + maybe a roster dman?? No way we're moving Johansson but maybe we can convince them to take gustaffson and throw in a cleveland??

We can turn around and resign oleksiak when hes a ufa to 2 or 3 years and he can be our veteran dman to surround the kids???

Maybe switch chiarot with oleksiak since edvinsson johansson seem to be good together atm and shouldn't be touched. Oleksiak can be a good option imo

Just because someone plays top 6 in the AHL doesnt mean that will be a top 6 nhl forward come on. I think there's way too many guys unless they bust that will be ahead of him on this team,or will be

It's not because he plays in top-6, it's because how he performes there. 0.65 PPG, constantly winning puck battles, hits, does all the efforts that helps the team win.

And there isn't "too many guys", without the injury Mazur would have been called up already. Other forward prospects are either years away or doesn't compete for a same role as Mazur.

Like I said ... agree to disagree on this one. Dont see him having any chance of being a top 9 guy longterm especially top 6 unless prospects bust

I like it as well. But if a net positive can happen through an aggregate of smaller moves, I'm all for it.

For example, let's say that Tarasenko and Rasmussen are dealt in exchange for two second round picks. Not a home run by any means. But if those picks and a sweetener are then flipped for long term help at either second pairing defense or a top half of the lineup forward, that's an overall win.

It doesn't have to be a big splash or a major shakeup. But you miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take, so I hope Yzerman is working the phones wherever he can to keep the options open.

I’d like to see the Wings acquire Hague from the Knights which is exactly the type of dman they need and send Holl to the press box. Johansson would fit nicely with someone who has his size and grit, and move Chariot and Perry to the 3rd pairing
