I mean... I guess we have only just barely gotten to see him play so fair enough, there.
But I am gonna go way out on a limb and say that Tommy Novak rocks about as hard as current-day Axl Rose.
Nah, he's sick.

I just have a hard time believing that Dubas has decided a year out that he's not gonna re-sign him. And when the report comes from Yohe, I have a double hard time believing it.
Nah, he's sick.

I certainly hope you are not insinuating that current-day Axl Rose does not rock. Look at that glower! Pure metal.

I didn't want to say anything, but I'm Yohe's source. Here's the thing - Yohe's sources aren't anyone in position of power or knowledge. It's abundantly clear that Dubas keeps things buttoned up pretty tight. The coaching search is evident of that - no one had Dan Muse as a top candidate until the very end. Trades don't leak until either the agents get involved or the info is submitted to central registry.
So even if Dubas said in their pro scouting meetings that they had recently that they would likely be moving on from Malkin, I doubt it's as simple as that.
Have you heard some of the clips from recent performances?
It sounds like someone jabbing Mickey Mouse with a red hot poker. Somehow worse than Vince Neil.
Well I hope it isn't serious. But it would explain some things.
It would be a little humiliating to be shown up every night by ERod but hey sure if he wants to.
Possibly hot take: if Malkin is retiring after next year, I’m all for trading him as a rental and letting him chase one more cup. No one is going to remember that he spent 20 regular season games and a playoff run with a new team and it helps out the rebuild a bit.
Ray Bourque did that and even spent another year with Colorado after it, but everyone knows of him as a Bruin.
lol. you're such a drama queen.
Nah that's just about where he is. Getting old sucks, buddy.
Nah.
Why? No one is going to remember or care if Malkin spends 25 games on another team at the very end of his last season.
If it gives Malkin a shot at another cup, the Penguins get assets for him and Malkin is good with it, what’s the harm? Is keeping him for those meaningless regular season games that big of a deal?
It's absolutely unreal how Malkin always somehow returns to the scapegoat role in Pittsburgh."nostalgia reasons".
Malkin is a top 30 all time NHLer. He should retire a Penguin.
He had 18 more points than Rodrigues in 14 less games last season while playing with probably the worst line mates of his career.
We don't need to pretend Evgeni Malkin is barely able to skate and can't play hockey anymore.
