i'm just hoping that murashov is up with the big team next year he's unreal down in the minors. but to that end we need to address the log jam in front of him. hell larrson is doing really well down there. it's pretty telling that you waive Jarry and no one will claim him for free. Larrson, Blomqvist, Murashov all are better options then Jarry. our problem is we only have one retention spot left until petry and smith are off the books. so i wouldn't be surprised to see Jarry ride out his career in the minors.
can we demote him to the ECHL? I'd make it so he's riding a bus in the lowest level league i can push him down to, hoping he asks out of his contract and we are off the hook.... while I've never been a fan of jarry it's still amazing just how bad he has become. he's literally like 4th stats wise on the AHL team!

Also, tonight is our last game before Friday's deadline. I really hope they either move the players that need to be moved today or keep them out of the lineup for precautionary reasons. With this team's luck, ya never know!!
if no one is kept out, i would guess it's because it doesn't look like a trade is going to be made.

We are 3 days away, so many things can happen from now to then and teams losing players to injury. I already think guys like Gryz and Beau are easily movable, if they play them with the possibility of getting hurt, it just shows how stupid this management team is in my opinion.

Depending what happens to the NHL Pens forward depth I'd look into claiming (or acquiring) Cam Atkinson. He's obviously not what he once was but that's a way you can keep most of the youth in WBS for their playoff push. And heck, maybe he clicks with Sid/Geno. Then you re-sign him and trade him next season.

Good Lord, no. 😯

Tldr:

Crosby & Malkin untouchable and don't even bother asking.

Gryz, Beau, Acciari, pack yo shit

Rakell out there, but it's going to be a big return or no deal. ( I read this as Dubas using the media to tell other GMs to up the bids.)

Rust and Letang Dumb and Dumber so you're telling me there's a chance 1%.

EK65 - it could happen, but easier to do in the summer

LOL, just LMAO, you wish: Graves and Jarry

Then he lists pretty much everyone else on the NHL roster over the age of 23 as available. All the AHL kids and prospects are in the not untouchable for the right deal, but this is what we're trying to add more of so it would have to be a haul category.

Yea I am really curious on what happens. Most likely some lower end guys. He got his 1st + 2nd for DoC and Petts. He did good.

Couple names off the board! Dubas licking his lips over that Acciari trade.

Yep I like it. Less on the market is better for us

Updated TDL plan:

-Rakell to LA for Moore and a 2026 1st
-2025 3rd to Washington for Lapierre
-Grzelcyk, Beauvillier and Acciari for a 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively

Moore-Crosby-Rust
Bunting-Malkin-Tomasino
Lapierre-Hayes-Heinen
Lizotte-Ponomarev-Glass

Shea-Letang
Kotya-Karlsson
Graves-Desharnais

Evans re-signing helps the market, but Frederic is a bit more mixed news, isn't it? After all, while there's one fewer bottom six forward on the market, there's also one fewer team looking for one.
I didn't think Acciari would be appealing to Edmonton so not sure that's really an issue.

Tanev @ 50% presents an issue with Acciari if all they are looking for is a 4th line energy guy. Only + Acciari has is being a center.

More buyers then sellers.

Sometimes it's a buyer's market so every player sold hurts. In this case for us I am unsure.

That's fine, I'm full of bad ideas.
We have Cam Atkinson at home.
