Rossi is their best center and yet Bruins fans would hate on him so much because he’s even smaller than Poitras. The only way Minny doesn’t match is because you reach a number that they think inhibits them from scrapping together a team after Kirill gets 15 kamillion AAV. If you’re going to go for him, at least make it 4 years.

Knies is part of the Leafs long term plan. Otherwise you would’nt have heard about Marner being asked to waive at the deadline. He makes a sweet Bruin though in my beer dreams.
I spent a bit of time on the Minnesota hfboards and it seems the fan base is pretty split on Rossi and there was lots of talk of whether they should let him go if he was OS. Considering how much chatter there has been over Rossi trade talks the last 2 years I’m think guerin might just bite.

Minnesota also loves JEE and there prospect Heidt has been pretty destructive in the WHL so it could be worth a try if Boston believes he can fill a top 6 role whether it be wing or center, size is obviously a concern but bruins went bigger and stronger this year and it resulted in a lottery pick.

I don't expect him every game but there are games he would be very useful. Lauko can play the games he doesn't. Minten and Kastelic are your regular fourth liners.
Kastelic's season like the rest of the team was a major let down. Can see why the Sens gave up on him.

Had very little impact after the first three weeks of the season. His fighting was as advertised

Still mystified they extended him so early, appears to be dime a dozen player. Would rather they waited.

Thank god they didn't do it with Brazeau. as here were some who wanted to give him 2 mil a year for 3 years.
In terms of Kastelic, they got him for 3 years at a slight discount over this year's cost. Guys who bang and win 54.4% of their draws are not a dime a dozen

Yeah, lots of rumors Minnesota was trying to move Rossi during the season. He was on the deadline trade boards. I don't think Minnesota loves his size. That's a team that likes to play big and mean.

Good point on the FO, I still would have waited

Does anybody else feel like Beecher was actually on a good path before this year? Bueller? What I saw was someone that had speed and faceoff ability, with defensive responsibility, and modest offensive potential to become a decent 3c for a bit. By June 2024, I thought that by this time this year, we would be looking at someone ready to push Coyle out of his spot. I understand that isn’t the case this year, and he has become the antithesis of much of that. I’m just curious if I was the only one that sees a much different product this season versus the last? Money is tight, and we’ve gained some intriguing prospects in the bottom 6 as of late, but I think they should keep him on a low cost deal going into next year if they can, even as a 13th forward that could be waived by November if he allows himself to be pushed out. Tight leash, but he has more to provide than what we are seeing right now, which I believe is a reaction to the product of the team as a whole.

I like Beecher more than most on the board, and the fact that he plays every night indicates to me that they do as well . I will be shocked if he is not resigned to a 2-3 year deal in the 1-1.5 mil a year range , maybe 3/ 3.75. Possibly they trade him, but he'll be in the NHL next year

I don't think he has any offensive iq at all.
