Yes - he’s in Providence College playing for Sweeney guy Nate Leaman, who has been on the ice in a previous Dev Camp wearing Bruins wind breaker

He’s kinda like Nick Saban from what I been told. He I’m sure has talked to Sweeney.

There is no guarantee on Connelly and the 2nd rounder probably will be very late - I’m bullish on Alexander Holtz

My opinion is the Bruins have seen David Pastrnak evolve as a player and leader since Jan 1 and are ready to make him the face of the franchise and captain

They’ll likely keep Geekie who’s this generations Mike Knuble ready for a 10 year run of 24 -35 goals. They will have a dominant first line driven by Pasta

The D & G will be league top 10

They will get younger & faster lines 2-4

Marchand could reup on a deal tomorrow but my feeling is it’s Pasta team

Also if it’s me hell yah I’ll go play in Vegas for Cassidy with Eichel, Stone, Hertl. He can keep his house here and come back and live here and raise family when he’s done & be back summers - Marchand probably signs extension there - if Bruins couldn’t get deal done in 6 months why now

Great return but is it possible only Vegas he would go to ? You think Cassidy next 2-3 years wants Marchand or Connelly. Obviously Brad. He goes I don’t see him returning

Vegas is so intriguing- they’ve got Cassidy they go for it they are a team of stars and veterans

It’s fun - you don’t have to live there all summer. He’s still got his home in Newton. He’s probably got 2-3 years left

I would totally do it if me - Cassidy and Brad were and are close

It’s a loaded group not on the level of when Bourque joined Colorado but kind of close

My concern will be how Will Tanner Pearson take having Brad replacing him LW with Eichel & Stone

Colorado traded Ritchie and 2026 1st for Brock Nelson, so probably takes the Avs out of the running. I would also prefer Connolly over Ritchie, just have this feeling Cal Ritchie will be a bust at the NHL level.

Absolutely, they basically have nothing. I would go for 1st in 27' unprotected + Connolly. At the draft you use the 1st to move up.

I’m a little bummed. I’m taking my boys to their first game and it’ll be my first live Bruins game when they play in Buffalo in April. My little guy has a Marchand jersey he loves and there’s a pretty good chance he won’t get to see him. I would have loved to see him to. I really missed seeing the B’s when they were great lol.
