But it needs saying that an under the table agreement like that is technically against the rules, which is why we don't see it often. How shady are the Bruins willing to be? How comfortable is Jacobs with a play like that?

I agree with you. Wotherspoon is a perfect depth d as long as his number stays less then 2 on 1 or 2 year deals.

Well there are a lot of UFA pieces and teams who need to load up for a playoff run tend to over pay. Coyle and Carlo are good players to bring back decent returns. Plus we have LTIR space. $$$$.
It might finally be a year where we are not giving away assets but gaining for the retool.

I think for example in 2019 they got back Johansson

2023 Orlov, Hathaway, Bertuzzi

2024???? Didn’t they get someone late ?

I have been saying his name all year when they play them in the GDT. Everyone else was on about thier big guys, that was unrealistic. JJ Peterka is fast and scored on us at will this year. He is getting a lot of notice, Sweeney should have tried for him earlier.

I really don't understand the Sabers....why move JJ Peterka? Sweeney should be all over this but I would imagine more than half the league would be too.

I wonder what Dom is hearing about STL...he usually has a pretty good ear to the ground about whats happening over there.

Last I heard was that they are taking calls on everyone other than Robert Thomas.

I wonder if we could see Buchnevich moved before his new contract kicks in (8x6).

Having a little bit of a down year and turning 30 but checks a lot of boxes of a type of player we could use...good size, skill, two-way play.
