They have decent numbers and like their game

I would trade Beecher if I could from L4

I would also trade Carlo while his value is high as we need younger talent and he’s our best chip to get someone like Necas

Maybe if they can include him in a trade, and take a slightly bad but different contract back. Not worth buying him out either, figure a million dollars for a different backup and his buyout cost added brings it up to almost the same hit.

It blows my mind that people still think he’s won’t cost any assets to move.
His save percentage is .002 better playing a lot less games and against worse competition.
Sweeney gambled and lost big time.

The defense is set and Swayman will be the #1 goalie. Korpisalo as the #2 is uncertain.

At forward they need to add a couple of players like Zacha and Geekie. Not clear that Beecher will make it. Hopefully a couple of the prospects like Farinacci, Merkulov or Lysell will make the team.

Geekie only 26 and is a swiss utility knife. Hard to replace . I say keep him.

I'm hoping we move off of Coyle. We need some extra cap space to change the look of this team

I’m torn on trading Marchand, but I’m looking over teams that could use him most and Minnesota really stands out with Kaprizov out. Minnesota also has some young center depth. Maybe if we could get Hunter Haight or Charlie Stramel and their 2026 1st. Marchand gives them a short term replacement for Kaprizov, and great depth if he comes back.
