Every year it's the same old thing.
I’ve watched a handful of prov games. Lysell deserves a look. He is an nhl talent as far as I’m concerned. I like his potential more than merkulov. His skating is ridiculously good.
I think they want lysell to chip pucks deep and stop stick handling into two/three players. Why haven't they brought Lysell or Merkulov up for more than a cup of coffee ?
What are they waiting for?
That is an honest question.
Marner has played some center as well. Hell he’s played defense in game as well and I mean the position. LolI’d do it. They’re both in their prime and there’s enough ice time for two RW to get 16/18 minutes per game, IMO.
Just means the 3/4 RW get less ice.
Is Lysell *still* doing that? I keep hearing this sort of thing. They may simply believe that he hasn't progressed, or refuses to try, in a very basic sense.I think they want lysell to chip pucks deep and stop stick handling into two/three players.
I feel like merkulov needs a look. They might not like his mobility and size. He is really effective on the pp in providence. 29th in the league in pp you would think they would be calling him up…
I’m sure he’s not untouchable, but he would cost a lot. I’d give up any regular +, outside of Pasta and McAvoy for him. What do they want for Leonard, because I be interested lol
Old habits are hard to kill. I haven’t seen him do it tonight. Tonight I’m only half paying attention sadly. Is Lysell *still* doing that? I keep hearing this sort of thing. They may simply believe that he hasn't progressed, or refuses to try, in a very basic sense.
What else could it be?
The Merkulov business seems like...
I don't know.
Given where they are, finding out what they have in this player Is logical, common sense.
I want the Bruins to lose and keep losing, as profit or lack thereof is the only language ownership understands. The ATM has to malfunction before significant change occurs.
Even so, in the meantime, their handling of Merkulov is odd if not exasperating.
They're already working to re-sign Tavares.Tavares contract expires this summer they’ll let him walk and resign Marner. No brainer.
I did hear that but it will be a home province discount compared to last deal he had is a good betThey're already working to re-sign Tavares.
Kid is a complete stud, they would be nuts to deal him, would kill to get himBruins need to help Ovi get another cup, for the cost of Ryan Leonard

Get the Caps to throw in a 2nd as wellThat’s the Iginla, Tage Thompson type of deadline deal that this team needs.
If Marchand wanted it……..
One can dream!
He’s probably a 25-40-65 kind of kid who lights it up in the playoffs and we hate playing against him for 15 yearsKid is a complete stud, they would be nuts to deal him, would kill to get him

They’ll give to get but they’re not going to give Leonard up. He’ll play in the playoffs for them this year.It won’t happen, of course…..but Ovi isn’t getting any younger and sometimes you’ve got to strike while the iron is hot.
Maybe I’m underestimating them, but I don’t think the Caps as presently constituted win the East.
But add in a Marchand, maybe a Coyle, Carlo or even a Zacha (not that I want him moved) and that moves the needle a bit.
You’ve gotta give to get.
I can hear it now, "we decided to keep our free agents and use them as our own adds." Can't remember the logic/wording but that would be the worse thing for them to do. 100% standing pat is pure laziness and fear. They stand pat I will flood social media 20 hrs per day saying Fire them They have UFAs to be that have to go if not signed.
