I’d rather they not make it and start selling before the deadline. They don’t have much of a chance of making the playoffs anyways.

With the draft being a lottery, Boston should never be a rebuild. The 5-6 year purgatory is terrible for culture, fanbase and interest in the team.

5-6 year rebuilds have a way of turning into 8-12 year rebuilds.

We've snipped back and forth in the GDT and post-games (all in fun), but I will 100% back you on this one. You did so advocate, and you were shit on for it. It's funny whenever Strome, or Chychrun, or Dubois, or Laine are brought up in a positive light here after how hard people get shit on here for suggesting them when they're available.

It's a very strange thing. I mean there are a bunch of other names you're missing as well. There just happened to be a bunch this offseason that are fresh in our minds.

I'm telling you if there is one person who catches as much flak as the Dylan Strome and Dubois suggestions its Trevor Zegras...he has such a similar profile to Strome where he was questioned for being soft, defensively inept, entitled, etc.

I'm really curious to see how Zegras will look when he's 27/28 or just simply out of Anaheim...

But watch, someone will be like "just what we need...a diva"

In the long run, probably, but he’s going to be a few weeks before he’s back to where he needs to be. It’ll be too late by then. Hell, it’s pretty much too late now.

The way I see it, you trade Carlo and Frederic together for a major top six forward and a bottom pairing D. Basically a shifting of assets, Carlo gets downgraded so that Frederic can be upgraded. Maybe Buffalo for Cozens and Jokiharju?
