Look, I’ve despised Taylor Hall. I’ve loved Taylor Hall. I’ve been ambivalent about Taylor Hall.Yeah the second he gets traded here you will see the patented HF Bruins board fish flopping in all it's beauty.
Huh ? Lindholm and Zadorov say Hi and there younger..He is going to be on his fourth team by age 31. Where there is smoke there is usually fire. I would prefer a different player.
Zadorov sucks and gets passed around from team to team because of it. As for Lindholm, he plays a premium position but he is not exactly consistent. Mighty Zad is also rumored to be difficult to coach. Stubborness is my guess.Huh ? Lindholm and Zadorov say Hi and there younger..
I’m not necessarily promoting Miller but that’s only cause of age I think his intense attitude is overblown.
IF the cost isn’t to bad and we keep the few decent prospects we have I’m not against it either but we’d probably lose Poitras Lysell or Lohrei unless they’re just trying to move on from him to end the feud.
...
I can see why some people love the idea and I can see why some people hate the idea. I don't think either side is 'wrong'
At this point I am very open to trading our 37 year old captain who is constantly in the news for the wrong reasons ( berated by Monty, not getting along with Pasta and being benched by an interim coach) if we could get some younger talent in return.Guy wouldn't fit into a locker room where the captain has already been berated by one coach on live TV for lack of effort who later got fired and benched by an interim coach for total lack of discipline and effort.
Thankfully the Bruins didn't listen to public perception or rumors about the kind of teammate and player Nathan Horton was. Most times a change of scenery is all that's needed.
Asshole or not he can playSee that’s the motte and Bailey argument. “He just wants to win and he plays hard why wouldn’t you want guys like that?”
It’s completely inaccurate. Sweeney doesn’t even need to talk to Elias and Zad - everyone in the league knows the guy is an asshole.

If Marchand is traded, I would immediately name Kastelic captain.
You would name a fourth liner that been in Boston for 3 hours as Captain? good griefAt this point I am very open to trading our 37 year old captain who is constantly in the news for the wrong reasons ( berated by Monty, not getting along with Pasta and being benched by an interim coach) if we could get some younger talent in return.

The point about beggars can't be choosers is one that I think is often overlooked. We say this guy isn't a great fit or I'd prefer that guy to this guy, but at the end of the day, 90% of who ends up here is determined by who we can get. Pettersson might be a better player but we can't meet the asking price, maybe Miller won't waive for Boston, Cozens might be a better fit age wise but Buffalo won't trade with us...I was quite interested in the Bruins acquiring J.T. Miller at the deadline in 2022. 3 years later, now that he's signed until he's 37? Much more difficult decision...
But, I agree with @PlayMakers and can see both sides of the debate. The Bruins are in a tough spot. The organization is very bare in the top-end Center department and sometimes beggars can't be choosers. One thing's for certain, though -- if the Bruins decide to sell, I do NOT want them acquiring Miller at any cost. He's only worth the gamble if you believe in this team in the short term.
Seravali talked about Miller to Boston on his show and about how Boston is one of the most attractive cities to live and play in, and how there aren't many better situations in the NHL than to be the center for David Pastrnak.I think Miller is an excellent player. I note the alleged locker room issues but they don't really bother me. I don't think he'll be a good fit with the Bruins though. I don't see him as the type to come in and help turn around a struggling team. I think he'd be much more suited to joining a team that's already a wagon and putting it over the top. Say the Avs wanted a 2C upgrade on Mittelstadt and could somehow make the cap and trade parts work. That's where Miller would be really bang for buck, IMO. Whereas on the Bruins I feel he'd just get frustrated and ineffective if things don't quickly change for the better.
Other thing is, as has been said, JT has a lot of control over where he ends up. What possible reason would he have to choose Boston?
I don’t see to many Centers turning down a chance to go center David PastrnakSeravali talked about Miller to Boston on his show and about how Boston is one of the most attractive cities to live and play in, and how there aren't many better situations in the NHL than to be the center for David Pastrnak.

He doesn’t seem to care about much of that negative stuff when it comes to wanting to play in New York.Nice city, tick, excellent RW, tick. Sure. On the other side, team that is not a contender right now, has some of the worst underlying numbers in the league, seriously lacks offensive depth, has no coach worthy of the title, may already have some locker room issues, more likely than not to be on a downward slide that will take some time to bottom out let alone turn around, high tax state.
Now some of that might be easily fixable, some of it simply may not bother Miller. He may either believe the Bruins can right the ship quickly, or he simply may not care because he can live in a nice suburb in a nice house. But the point is I believe there are more arguments against Boston for a player in his situation than for. Could be wrong, but that's how I see it.
Here's hoping the Bruins management team has sold Miller on this as the best destination for him and how he was born to be a Bruin. Waives for just Boston, Canucks and Bruins come to an agreement this week.
One can hope
Canucks ask for Poitras and Lohrei- Bs counter with Coyle and Carlo

I think the Bruins could make an attractive pitch.
Question to me is: Do the Bruins make that pitch? Do they want to pay what it would take to get him here? Do they want him at all?

Yeah that was the wrong expression, no idea why I used it except I had several things going on at the moment. Why would anyone here have egg on their face if and when Miller gets traded somewhere else?
