You are right, why would he do that, and I am not sure a college coach would be my top pick at this time, and I mean no disrespect to Carle. I am risking be tarred and feathered; I am going to put a name out there that I was never a fan of, but always thought he was a pretty good hockey player, but might be someone who help this PP, and I would say not going to cost a lot..........Tony De Angelo, .......OH! am I going to get killed.
Well yeah, because this is so unserious.

E. Lindholm doesn't suck! And he's a 1C whether anyone likes it or not! Get over it!
I don't like it, and I will not get over it and I for one never said he sucks, but I have said he is not worth the contract he got and is not a # 1 C.

Well you are just laughing at me Gord, not bad I can take that......:D

That certainly could be true. He may not even leave Denver any time soon. But I think the fanbase, especially here, underrates the quality of the job that a successful Bruins HC would be.

Heck of a job for a successful HC here. Probably one of the most stable in the league. I'd also say that from the other extreme, the Bruins are one of the fastest to pull the plug when things go somewhat south.

David Carle seems to be the current darling of the hockey coaching world. I'm not holding my breath on him coming here.

Oh I agree completely. I'm not holding my breath on him leaving now period. I do think if a coach had a choice between Chicago, NYR, and Boston that the Bruins job would win out for a lot of reasons. I can't see Carle going to a Columbus or a Anaheim or some other outpost like that. If and when he comes it will be for a big job.

Guy is producing at a 38 Point pace which is basically high end 3C production. He isn't a 1C whatsoever this year. Only way #28 gets a mulligan is if he has been injured since camp.
Zacha produces less and plays with Pasternak.

If we can get rid of Coyle Elias just becomes a slightly more expensive version of him which is fine.

Nate Leaman is a better coach than Carle.

I assume it's Charlie. He's the one who's hands on. He sits in on press conferences as a representative of ownership.

To stay in speculation world a moment, I wonder if Charlie, if he is making the decisions, will do anything big like clean out the FO so long as Papa Jacobs is still alive. It's kind of a strange situation looking from the outside.

Bad news.

Why would Carle leave one of the top NCAA programs in the country mid season to come and be a PP coach?
Because the Bruins PP is soooooo bad, that an acorn squash could come in without any effort and improve it enough to be viewed as a "PP Whisperer" and then charge exorbitant amounts as a consultant to work with any NHL team said squash wants to work with.

I kid, of course. Maybe he comes to Boston for the big job, but as a mid season PP coach???????? I agree.

Why are they just now putting Hampus on LTIR? I could be misunderstanding the rule, but they could’ve been banking cap space this whole time, no?

Bad news.
He hit his head hard on the ice. About as hard as the receiver on the Packers this weekend. Sucks.

Good points, and why do the Bruins draft centers and the move them to wing, I get the Belechick, thinking with having versatile players, but there are times you just need a legit center, and time s they could use a legit winger, like now I might add. I always kind of get a kick out of how it is always said that it is easier to play wing then center, that is understandable but if you have played center most of your hockey life, you tend to be more comfortable there and play more natural, sometimes a player gets moved and they play robotic.

This isn't a Bruins related thing, it's just common for hockey players to end up playing a different forward position based on their skillset/attributes and how they progress.
