Boston Bruins 24-25 Roster/Cap thread XI

Bruins all over TSN Toronto sports radio.

For what it's worth, both Jamie McLennan and Jeff O'Neill (former NHL Players) agreed that they have never heard of a player saying to the coaches or management "I'm not playing with Player X". Basically said it would be breaking the code and you play with who your coaches tell you, period, end of story. To even to try a power move like that wouldn't be appreciated at all and the player would quickly be told to get out of our office with that S&^%.

This team needs to play like they did for the middle 10 minutes or so in last nights third period -- ALL THE TIME. Uptempo, aggressive, puck hounding with a touch of physicality. Without it we f***ed.

But do that and you spend time in the opponents zone and relieve pressure on a defensive system (notice I didn't limit it to poor Mason Lohrei) that clearly needs settling.

However, that kind of effort and intensity has been largely missing this year -- I don't know why. As I said in GDT last night, I expected that kind of hard working team when the season started.

Maybe the problem is that there is not one player on the team who, in his right mind, is afraid of losing his job. Cupboards are barer than any time in recent history.

Honest question old timers -- can you remember a time when our prospect pool was so diminished? Off hand I cannot, but will think about it. Either way, it's dark.
Yes there have been several times where the prospect pool has been subpar ad this "diminished" but only a couple times where the parent club was in such an absolute mess. I don't think a complete overhaul is in order but serious questions surrounding the leadership and management.
Sounds like course correction time.
A new view.

How long has Pasta been here? If he was a problem it would have come out years ago. Pretty sad that people actually believe two hacks on a flailing, garbage station.
Yeah at most this is overblown to hell.

Pasta and Marchand getting into a heated argument over effort level? Especially with the team struggling monumentally? Sure, i could see it. Athletes are incredibly competitive so even the smallest disagreement can boil over and cause a confrontation. Like how often do we hear of teammates dropping the gloves in practice in a season? You could make an argument that it's better we hear stuff like that since that means guys give a shit.

Pastrnak being a baby back bitch like these two reported? Yeah, no. Like you said, there's been nothing in his 8 year career to even remotely suggest he's this type of guy
