What do you define as "working out well"? I didnt see them winning something in the playoffs. Right now they are doing good in the regular season but nothing else.
Would you rather be Washington or Detroit, Buffalo, and others that have been rebuilding for years. I take my chances with Washington

Washington didnt achieve anything since winning the Cup 2018 because the team goal seems to be that Ovechkin breaks the goalscoring record. I would prefer the Bruins to push for a Stanley Cup.

Washington did not rebuild and seems to be working out well for them.

Very true.

Washington also had the balls to acquire Pierre Luc Dubois which nearly every person on this forum said they wouldn’t touch. He’s having quite the bounce back year and is even playing a much better 200ft game.

Idk if the Bruins would make one of those type of risks.

I was a pro PLD person, but it certainly came with a "lose your job" level of risk, unlike a Zacha or a Strome level risk where you could walk away in the short term. Not sure if I wasn't just a poster if I could have pulled the trigger.

There is a bit of snake oil, I think, with Washington. Some pretty bonkers shooting percentages on that team.
