Villa-7 wins/4 seconds
City-7 wins/7 seconds
Preston-2 wins/1 second
Forest-2 wins/5 seconds
Ipswich-1 win
Palace-0 wins/3 seconds
Brighton-0 wins/2 seconds
Fulham-0 wins/1 second

So Spurs couldn't score against City at home, yet Plymouth can score against City on the road.

Shambolic if I was a Tottenham fan.

Gordon has to be one of the most unlikeable players I have ever seen in my history of watching football. If Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has a slapable face in the NHL, Anthony has a punchable face in the EPL

Pointing and laughing at a downed player after a blow to the head/face is pretty much the fastest way to become a villain.

(the face/head area can be very fragile.... one slight hit in the right spot (or the wrong spot) can drop anyone)
Very odd break down he had.

It's not just that. He dives in every single game, throws himself into goalkeepers and gets pens. He is a trifecta of a douche.

Mentioning throwing themselves down on a anticipation of or slightest contact really has been unpunished from what i saw this season (mostly EPL this season) and I guess the players caught on because they do it to the point of embarrassing.

Either enforce calling simulation or only give penalties on legit scoring chances. A player fouled in the back corner of the box, with no chance/intent on scoring, playing a pass back is fouled and that awards a free point bank spot kick? Too easily abused.
Now I may be going off on my personal opinion but I loathe when teams are at a standstill and they go penalty hunting. Laying on the ground throwing their hands up. Really....

apart from time wasting that is my biggest gripe of this season.

This is one of the biggest failings of VAR.

Theoretically VAR should be finding situations where a player conned a ref and letting the ref fix that. Those cons can either be completely simulating contact or it could be initiating the contact and absolutely chucking yourself to the ground.

Unfortunately VAR has taken the approach of basically saying that a pen stands if there was any contact at all, no matter how slight. And even in the cases where a referee has been sent to a monitor to review his call and determined that actually there was no pen, they never award a simulation yellow. Additionally, if a referee didn't call a pen live, it has to be a really blatant foul for VAR to get involved.

What that means is that a player is heavily incentivized to go down all the time for any reason. If they can convince the referee live, they're extremely likely to have it stand and even if it doesn't, they're not going to be punished for the attempt. Conversely, they're disincentivized from staying up because if them fighting through contact causes a referee to decline a penalty live (which we've seen many times), VAR is never sending him to the monitor to check it over.
