Didn’t get to watch the game and was stuck at work. Not that xG is the end all be all, but saw that Tottenham was at .67xG. Was Bayindir that bad?

Spurs have the Cup matches against Liverpool and Tamworth between league matches with Newcastle and Arsenal. I wonder if we see 5 teenagers start against Tamworth?

Curious how we line up with Nwaneri also out injured now, Havertz still a question mark due to illness, and Odegaard also sick. Would be cool to see some new academy players that have been occasionally making the bench, but I expect a conservative approach from Arteta, and indeed I suppose Newcastle is hardly a team you want to experiment against. Expect an appearance by Sterling then I guess

King Kai is back on top, Tossard and Martinelli are his wingers. Arsenal playing a pretty loaded starting XI.

Both these teams badly need a trophy Newcastle should just be trying to beat Arsenal up all game. Arsenal will do the same thing they do every week

If we just lost this and were out I wouldn't particularly mind. But having to go into a second leg down is going to be a major pain in the ass.
