Calafiori has been all over the pitch today and not in a good way. Also, not sure why we're starting Saka in a game like this.

E: Rice just scored.

16-year Jack Porter starts in goal for Arsenal against Bolton, their youngest ever starter.
What happened to Neto?

Yeah, nice shot by Rice from edge of area as Bolton players couldn't stop reach him.

Neto is ineligible, cup tied, already played for Bournemouth earlier.

Then and there
Nwaneri scores from close range after Sterling broke through on the left flank to provide the low pass. Lewis-Skelly initiated the move with his pass to Sterling.

Then and there
Nwaneri with his 2nd, after Rice interrupted a Bolton pass.

Sterling with his first Arsenal goal with a simple tap in after Saka managed to squeeze a pass through. Match is pretty much over now at 4-1.

Liverpool's second team isn't bad.

There was a good athletic article that ranked sides in the league and included 2nd teams. City had like the 1st squad and like 6 or 7th.

Newcastle to face Chelsea next in the League cup, as they do just about enough to beat Wimbledon without sweating much at all.

Newcastle have definitely fielded something resembling their regular team while Chelsea have gone to the backup brigade for the most part.

Tremendous finish into his own net by Disasi.. 2 in 2 minutes. Chelsea.. clearly not interested in a cup run.
