I heard he was home against Qarabag and away to United but unfortunately for him I was on holiday that week haha
Did you miss the West Ham game too?

His hold-up play and pressing is top tier. And he plays a sacrificial role in the sense that he is doing eveything possible to occupy opposing center backs to leave space for others. Like Kulusevski and Son.

Edit: most places I'm reading that he had a good game tonight. Seemed gassed in the end though.

That doesn't make an impressive center forward for me, let alone one that costs 65 million pounds. The West Ham game we scored four goals, with zero goal contributions from Solanke. He seems slow, lumbering and with limited skill on the ball.

Solanke has been probably Spurs’s third best player this year in the matches I’ve watched (which I think is most of them?) behind Kuluseveski and VdV.

We probably enjoy different kind of players, Spurs best players this year for me were Son, Maddison and Romero.
I won't disagree with those three but those are also the three that you expect the most from. Based on history, resume, etc...

Solanke has been ok, probably better than I was expecting but he hasn't really wowwed me. But I would say apart from vdV (who we kind of expect to be great at this point) the two that have really impressed this season are Kulusevski and Johnson. Both have been consistently good and consistently dangerous.

Arsenal vs Man Utd the big draw.

Do whatever you want. Yeah y’all got a harder draw. Deal with it. That’s what I’m supposed to say now right?

For the record i don’t necessarily see United at home as an overly tough draw. I would probably see an away game at the likes of Brighton, Villa, Newcastle etc as tougher.

At least you can spin on your conspiracies that City always get’s the easy draw hehe.
