I think Amorim has no idea what he's doing, don't care what his excuses are, didn't think it would get better than the last bald fraud but here we are.

I’m not bothering with United so I can’t say, but it seems to me his problem is that he’s imposing his way of playing on a squad where few players are cut out for it. IMO that’s on him to a large degree, but it’s still not an easy job..

Another way of looking at him could be taking Sporting Club post Amorim into consideration. Two different managers since and they’re nowhere near as dominant.

He’s also imposing a system that’s significantly different than the past system in the middle of the season.

Leyton takes lead over Man City, Donley scores from way out, lobbing the ball over Ortega and in via bar.
City lucky to be down by only one so far. Nico at fault for the Leyton goal, and then he gets injured on the next play, another nightmare debut for Guardiola

Instead of dropping 50 mil for every marginal player under the sun Spurs should really take a look at these two kids at Leyton, best players on the pitch so far, including those on City

Donley is one of their better prospects for sure.

Elliott showing the nothing IQ that explains why Slot doesn’t trust him, I suppose
That was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Who puts their arms up to block a bicycle kick.

Harvey isn’t playing because of that and because he doesn’t have a position under Slot. Too slow for wing, too small for midfield. It’s a shame because he is still one of their best bus breakers but writing is kind of on the wall there.

Slot definitely does not care if they go out here; picking a C+ team in the road kind of speaks for itself. Especially, No one will care if they win the League Cup. But hey fair play to Plymouth for showing up.

Forgot we had another senior player in Nunez on the bench, get him on.
I care much more about Joe Gomez getting re-injured than potentially getting knocked out

Your front 3 has 158 caps for Top 15 NTs and 0 shots on target today. C+ or not. “Fair play for showing up” is insane amounts of cope.

No cope. Just apathy. This game was sandwiched between two much more important games. LFC look bad. That’s what happens when you play one and half starters and have a bunch of players that have never played together playing out of position. Front three have a ton of games but 2/3 of them are coming off long term injuries and trying to play into form.

I simply do not care. I’m only annoyed we didn’t sign another defender in January because the powers that be thought Joe Gomez could stay healthy
