You can see the influx of youth exhibited on these boards when we value an ability to "dangle."

Even so, interested to see whether Hagelin starts getting some PP time.

It's not necessarily the value of "dangling" so much as the ability to play a defenseman one-on-one.

When Gaborik goes one-on-one with a defender, it's as good as a guaranteed turnover.

When Nash goes one-on-one with a defender, there's a significant chance he's going to turn it into a scoring chance.

Nash does it in a pretty fashion, but the prettiness of it is not where the value lies.
