A great part of the playoffs with multiple OT was when that guy's bloody horn ran out of gas. You could hear it slowly choking to death.

Makes me wonder if Dale Hunter's attempts to make Ovechkin just another one of the ultra-responsible defensive aware brigade caused Ovechkin to just tune out and he never really tuned back in.

I don't know if that was it. I think his game started to change when the league started getting on him about some of his boderline hits. He really hasn't been the same since his last suspension.

Ovi did give up on the play, he could've still skated after step side stepped him. He just sorta glided after him.

Not really something I cna disagree with. We need more speed and Gilroy brings that. Hamrlik just needs a week or 2 to get back to match fitness.

ditto...horrible job calling a game, awful personnel, could be worse though, could be a Canadian team's announcers or boston's or Pittsburgh...but they could do WAY better than doc/eddie/milbury/etc. I like Pierre, I hear him speak on NHL Network Radio and he is really hockey smart and insightful, but I just don't think he is made for TV, I think he would be better on a radio broadcast.

We all have to get used to the fact that Richards is going to be here until at least the end of next season. You don't get rid of someone based on a shortened season. gaborik, Nash and Richards should at least get a full season to see what they can do before we blow it up.
