Apparently, Joel Ward hit Biron's mask with his stick on that goal. That might explain some things. If that's true, the goal should've been disallowed.

I didn't see that but I did see him tackle our D in front of the net and was wondering how that wasn't called a hold, which would have also disallowed the goal.

for those saying that was not luck...having played the game (never professionally or juniors) you watch where the goalie is, if you choose to take it behind the goal line like that and a goalie is off the post then you look for a bank shot. Stepan looked for that, that was a smart goal...luck had nothing to do with that!
