Nurse, Keith, Ceci, Koekkoek, by order of importance.

I don't care if you're the Devils in the peak of the DPE, if you lose your #1 D and then 3 other regulars it makes a big impact.

Ceci hasn't been amazing for us or anything, but he's been very solid. Can't complain about his play at all. Thing is losing him means adding a defenseman with zero NHL experience when you already had Bouchard + Broberg + Lagesson playing half the night with a combined 40 nhl games. Now you're adding a guy with 0 to that list.

I wouldn't worry much. There isn't anyone on this team that can take advantage of that fact outside of like maybe 2 guys.

People need to realize that this is Edmonton, not Calgary again. Edmonton doesn't play a tight checking defensive game. Now with them missing 4 of their top 6 D, that is exacerbated. Plus this is the Alberta road trip, teams usually win one and lose one.

Expected Ceci to outperform people's expectations again. He found the confidence now. Glad to see it.

Why the heck do you bring up DOC to bench him. Such a waste. Great way to build confidence in your best NHL ready prospect. Simon was poop then hurt last game. Lafferty always poop. No reason they should be in over DOC
