He's one of the top scorers in the KHL these days, tied for 11th in the league.

Which doesn't mean a lot as many of the top scorers are NHL washouts.

but I agree with you that he was too high and was a boom or bust guy. I think too many people got enamored by trick shots / shoot outs.
