That was a great game by Terry. I criticized him plenty last year for the hero puck and lack of focus but when he's on his game, no one on the team has his level of puck skill, spacing awareness, and general offensive hockey IQ. I think if he had better linemates he could easily have another 10 points right now.

It's good to win the games you are supposed to, with them being on a back to back. Certainly didn't look like a club that is supposed to be a couple years further along in their build
TBF they are missing the player that was supposed to bring them a couple of years further along in the rebuild

That game was way more eventful than it should have been. Found a way to win in the end, so I’ll take it.

I’ve noticed Vatrano a lot more the last few games, and not just on the scoresheet. His best asset is his speed and I felt I rarely saw those patented bursts of his earlier in the season. I like him as a player, but my goodness dude, STOP DIVING. It’s embarrassing.

Would be nice to see Gauthier and McTavish get going. If we could ever get everyone firing at once, we may actually have something here.

The team has been playing a lot better as of late and it’s a lot more enjoyable to watch. It’s especially nice to not have to watch them defend all game. It seems things have slowed down for the guys offensively and they’re not handling the puck like a hand grenade.

Also glad to see the Ducks pull one out for you @heynowbababooey Praying for comfort and peace for you and your family

Desperately hope that when Leo gets back, McTavish centers Cutter and Leason. I think it will be a great opportunity for him to build some confidence against softer matchups

Z looked really good when he was with Leo, they were even producing. Hopefully they go back to that and put Mac at 3C. Lundy has his moments but he is more of a 4C at this point.

Not happy with this win. We played a tired team and should have beat them by at least 2 goals. During the third we let them take it to us. It's not good enough

It wasn't pretty and we can't be blowing multiple leads, but I feel like we aren't on a level where we should be upset with any winning result haha

What's the opposite of "moral victories"? I agree with you but 2 points is 2 points.

Immoral losses, like when Vegas lose to us

Yeah it got rough in the 3rd mostly. But the vets are starting to heat up. If they can get Leo back soon, and Z going again, then can score more goals. Tonight was a one line hockey team but they got it done.

Not a great performance as many have said, particularly considering OTT was on the tail end of B2B. I thought Cutter had a rough game. And Leason went back to being invisible on that line. Killorn's upper body looks so rigid while he skates, almost like someone fused a bar between his shoulder blades. Gudas also looked a lot slower than I remember. On the plus side, Terry and Frank were great

He goes to the net! He’s like the only non-4th liner who does that with some consistency.

That whole line was rough. I thought Lundestrom had a particularly bad game as well. That's a great 4th line. Not a good 3rd line.
