If the goal was a softy and especially if he didn't have to do much, I will. It'll be 4 1 goal losses where he allowed a questionable goal. I thought he was great against the Kings. He couldn't do anything on the goal and made several spectacular saves.

People need to get off Hanks supposed soft goal and blaming him for anything that goes in. He's not a robot. Paille was on a breakaway. A BREAKAWAY. I don't care how soft you think the goal was, a breakaway is unpredictable. There's so many things that the skater can do when skating down. Besides, Hank more so then not, makes these saves. Again, he's not a robot, and can't possibly stop them EVERY time.

The Stars are probably the team I know least about. Looks like a weird mixture of young, very talented players and old have-beens. Lehtonen is very good, though. Going to be interesting for sure.

Hank has been pretty solid but he has not been HANK-Esque this season IMHO. He has let in a few softies that he historical does not and at really bad times.

This is also a contract year for him. He needs to be better.

I really wish his rebound control and game management were better. Many of the goals he has given up this season would have been prevented if he would simply freeze the puck and stop play. He seems to default to getting the puck the hell away from the net instead of slowing things down when the guys are on their heels. Talbot does this very well and I think it has lead to his recent success.
