Why don't we just call up someone like Palmeri instead of playing Bickel for 2 minutes a game?

My point being, someone who has 3rd line capabilities and a little bit of jam (which i read on palmeri's scouting report when he was traded here). Bad example, guess he's still underwhelming.

I don't know if there really is anyone who would be better than Bickel on the 4th line right now. Haley? We will see. Everyone hated Mashinter, not sure why. Ferreiro is just coming back from injury. Newbury? Ew. Segal? Torts didn't seem to like him for some reason. Kreider? He should stay down for a while to gain confidence. Thomas? He looked decent but I think they want him to continue to develop. Hrivik is injured.

This is why they should have pounced on another depth forward when they had the chance. Armstrong? Hecht? Someone like that.

Would you rather Bickel play 2 minutes a night, or Palmeri playing 2 minutes a night and not getting the opportunity to get better. Palmeri has had his cup of coffee in the NHL, should know what it takes and be trying to work on it in the AHL. Point is, plugging young guys in for 2 minutes a night is worthless unless you have a purpose to motivate them or other players.Might as well have Bickel who sits like a puppy on the bench and celebrates with the team after the game like he was part of the team victory.

If Bickel can learn to forecheck a little more consistently, he is the ideal tough 7th dman/13th forward. Is he the long-term solution or should play like he has been in the lineup? Absolutely not, but we need one more depth cheap veteran player if Aaron is going to be battling injuries all year.

Completely agree. Don't think we need just another depth forward though. I think we need someone like Clutterbuck, an established 3rd liner and not a 4th line convert playing in a roll bigger than his play (Boyle). We need grit and energy and while a pylon would be better than Bickel at the moment, if we want a legitimate chance of getting this done this year the addition should have some significance. Powe is a significant addition to our 4th line, we need a significant addition to our 3rd line.

if you click the URL it tells you what URL to use for which stream.

Use this URL if you're on the East Coast, nyr2.php for west coast, or nyr3.php for Europe. Lower quality stream at nyr4.php

Also, stuttering issues may just be caused by an underpowered CPU. If CPU usage is high, try enabling GPU acceleration in VLC settings under Input/Codecs.

Hagelin-Miller-Callahan
Pyatt-Halpern-Powe
Haley-Boyle-Bickel
