Because Darcy doesn't want to make himself look like a fool and admit they made a mistake in keeping him up and burning a year of his ELC, so he'd rather keep him up with the club and just scratch him every night or bury him and give him 4th line minutes instead of doing what is right. He'd rather risk ruining Grig's career to save his own, basically. Grigorenko should be in juniors right now getting ready for the playoffs.

If there was a good reason, I wish the organization would let the fans know. Even if it wasn't a great reason, at least the thoughts the team has on deciding to keep Grigorenko up would be nice. Someone mentioned in another thread that the Sabres' coaching staff is re-constructing how Grigorenko skates. I have no idea if that's true or not, or even if that's a valid reason for keeping him on the team. But at least give the fans some reason why he's on the team.
