We look kinda not good and are VERY lucky the Stars are icing half an AHL team.

Dull period instead of getting shelled like we would against a full squad.

Shots were 7-4 Dallas. They had the puck significantly more though they really didn't get a number of legitimate chances. We barely had the puck and I don't think we had a scoring chance the entire period. If the rest of the game is like the first period, I may fall asleep before it's over.

Dallas played hard on the puck...or as Torts used to say stiffff. Stars have size, skill and speed. If they figure out there defense they could make some noise in the west.

Yup. Unfortunately, this team has only two top six wingers right now, and Hayes has both of them.

The fact is with Zucc out the team has ONE top 6 winger.

Whichever line doesn't have Kreider is gonna look sorta like ass. Chytil while looking good and all that is very clearly enabled by Kreider, you can't slot him around and expect production.

Dallas also goes long strecthes of dominant play without scoring. They’ve been like this for years. The most inconsistent team in the league.
