Meh. Some people have there opinions on how the game should be policed. After playing for 30 years and coaching a high level for 10 my opinion is sometimes you need to send a message. Sometimes that message needs to be sent with a beating.

Wins like that mixed with sending that message late and killing it off could really bring this team more together.

I completely agree, jake clearly has never played a team sport In his life( or if he has, he’s not seen many minutes which ironically an attitude like his, wouldn’t warrant being trusted with extra ice time)

Yeah I was like that signing is so MEH. Since he’s been called up though I’ve liked his game and energy.

Z playing with confidence is nice. But if he can channel his inner Getzlaf for playing when pissed, he will be an actual game-changer, not just in the regular season, but in the PO as well (once we reach those).

I watch crash the pond every episode they put out, don’t hate the guy. Just have to strongly disagree with his stance via that he feels fighting and toughness don’t have a place in the game. I forget that he’s a soccer player/fan at heart. But one could do a better job of differentiating the 2 sports
