I re-watched the Z goal and how it came to be. LaCombe did a great job twice on that shift. First getting to the puck and taking the hit while pushing the puck up the wall. Then LaCombe erased the forward chasing the puck, which lead Z to be scott free to get to the puck. And that's what eventually lead to the puck along the wall to the eventual goal.

And as I pointed out last season, LaCombe gets off the ice just before Z scores and doesn't get the +1 rating for it.
