- Utah = Desnoyers, Hayton, Beaudoin and 19th overall for Larkin, Cossa and our 2nd

Larkin after July 5th but before camp
Anaheim = McTavish, Stolberg and 2027 1st for Larkin and Faulk
Or
Minnesota = Starmel, Yurov, 2027 1st for Larkin and Buium

Larkin after season starts
Vegas = Hertl and Karlsson

Debrincat all depends on DL return and direction...max return if traded before camp, if at TDL expect at best a 2027 1st and 2028 2nd

Faulk after July 5th and before camp
- Anaheim(see above)

- Anaheim = Our 2027 2nd rd pick

I highly doubt there is a world in which Yzerman tears things down. He should but I don’t see it happening.

Both are UFAs after this coming season. He might not have that option. If neither player wants to discuss an extension starting July 1, then you move them. I also don't think he should sign either anyway. It's a buyer's market right now. Teams have tons of cap space.

Fine with those Utah proposals, but think they don't have any need for Faulk. Right-side defencemen are pretty much set there (Weegar, Durzi, Marino + prospect Lamoreux and also LhD Nate Schmidt can play the right side, currently plays at left), the CLEAR need at Utah is for Left side.

For Faulk, you just have to find other team for a trade. There are plenty of team with a need for RHD, like always.

I was thinking this is more like the Trade Deadline prediction thread. Less discussion more prediction of what will happen and when.

Larkin (Minny/Det/Utah at the Draft)- Larkin goes to Minny -> Yurov/Stramel/Desnoyers (Det) -> Wally + goes to Utah.

Copp (Pittsburgh at Deadline) - 2nd

Faulk (SJS at Deadline) - 1st

Ras + Antjo + Danielson + 3rd -> (Anaheim at the Draft) McTavish + Solberg

I really don't know, we have talked about something like Howard from Edmonton or Podkolzin. I think the best scenario is Cossa is in the Larkin deal or a bigger deal. By himself I'm not sure it's worth it since goalies just don't get all that much value back.

They're clearly going in a forced rebuild so collecting draft assets through trades is back to where they're at. There is no 'getting better'. *Maybe; really we need to see the actual Larkin trade though it's not looking good imo right now.*
